Details

Very rare and beautiful rosewood with black buttoned leather mechanical reclining armchairs. They have padded backs and seats with moveable arms and they sit on channel moulded cabriole legs with brass caps and castors. They have an ingenious button on the side to allow them to recline. The foot rest is pulled from under the seat and rotates simply into position. Each chair has the makers mark, 'Le Maigre' and both have makers stamp.

Condition

Really beautiful condition with a lovely patina. The leather is exquisite and in very good condition, recovered in the last 10 years I would think. The mechanical foot rest is in good order and easy to use. They need to be viewed to be appreciated.
